The Poly-ITE SkillsFuture Work-Study Programme (WSP) is a work-learn programme that gives fresh graduates from Polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) a head-start in careers related to their discipline of study. It provides them with more opportunities to build on the skills and knowledge they acquired in school, and better supports their transition into the workforce.
Participating employers can recruit local fresh graduates who are within three years of (i) graduation from Poly or ITE or (ii) Operationally Ready Date (ORD) for full-time National Servicemen, and prepare them to take up suitable job roles.
Participants in the programme can look forward to a structured career progression pathway within the organisation.
This survey aims to ascertain key employment indicators of WSP graduates and gain insights on their plans for upgrading or further studies. In addition, the survey would also obtain feedback on the WSP experience from both WSP graduates and participating employers.
The categories of respondents for the Poly-ITE SkillsFuture Work-Study Programme Outcome Survey 2024 are as follows:
- WSP graduates from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2024;
- WSP employers of trainees who graduated from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2024.
